Haws Park Preparation 2026 As part of Bridge of Allan’s Flood Protection Scheme, 20 plots fromBridge of Allan Allotments are being requisitioned by Stirling Council to allow construction of the new defences to take place.
The scheme follows the alignment of the existing flood protection, with ashort extension past the allotments on Cornton Road, tying into higher ground near Lyon Crescent.
The height of Cornton Road is being raised by 1.5m causing significant impact to the allotment site.
As a result, Stirling Council are relocating plot holders affected to the Haws Park and the land is being prepared for this move.

Bridge of Allan allotments will be affected by the building of the Bridge of Allan Flood Protection scheme.
Work on this starts in late summer 2026.
